Virtual Event for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in Proteomics
June 21 @ 08:00 – 17:00
EuPA is pleased to announce that they are currently organizing a Virtual Event for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in Proteomics on June 21, 2021, intended to promote the activities of the Young Proteomics Investigators and the European Bioinformatics Clubs (YPIC and EuBIC) and to give our young people an opportunity to network with their fellows.
Guests of honor will be the four EuPA 2020 award winners who have been recognized for their vision and commitment to YPIC, namely Maarten Dhaenens and Dina Resetar Maslov and to EuBIC, namely Viktoria Dorfer and Marie Locard-Paulet. They will present their scientific achievements but also how their major contributions and engagement to YPIC and EuBIC have impacted their scientific careers and lives.
In the second part of the event, EuPA would like, with your help, to give a voice to young talents of your national societies. In this regard, BePA is looking for one local ECR (PhD student or junior researcher with max. 7 years after PhD) who will be offered a 5 minutes speaking slot at the event. Candidates should apply before Friday, May 28, 2021 by sending an abstract and short bio to email@example.com.
Finally, we are planning an optional third part to this event during which more direct exchanges would take place in smaller, more confidential groups on a challenge to be further defined.
