We are part of both chemical societies of Belgum (KVCV and SRC). You can choose from which chemical society you want to become a member to automatically become a BePA member. If you are a member of one of the two Belgian chemical societies and you picked “Proteomics” as your primary interest, you become a member of BePA.
You are re-directed to either the KVCV membership page or SRC membership page. Make sure to set proteomics as your primary interest to become a BePA member.
When you enlist with us, you are also part of EuPA. They will not contact you, don’t worry! But make sure to check out their website or contact them if you are planning to attend one of the European Proteomics events: they provide travel scholarships (to young scientists)! Are you an early career scientist? Then surely check out the Young Proteomics Investigators Club (YPIC). You can become a member for free and enjoy all their free events, which focus on “life in science”. Their sole purpose is to help you unfold your full potential. Check out their website for more details.
BePA wants to focus on the users of proteomics. So, we understand that your expertise and core interest might lay in a neighboring field. That is why BePA also became a member of the Koninklijke Vlaamse Chemische vereniging (KVCV) and SRC (Societé Royale Chemique).
Becoming a KVCV member comes with the following benefits:
- a subscription to their monthly magazine C2W
- Access to online C2W articles
