The Temmerman lab specializes in nematode peptidomics. The vast majority of activities rely on C. elegans as a model species. Aiming to build an as-complete-as-possible C. elegans reference peptidome, this work is the basis for several differential peptidomics studies to assess the contribution of intra- and intercellular peptide signaling to functional biological processes. In addition, gel-based and gel-free proteomics methods are used to drive hypotheses for functional biological research.
